Welcome to Milan

Dear Fellows and Friends of the ICD,

It is with great joy and pride that I welcome you to Milan for the 69th European Meeting of the International College of Dentists.

As we spend these days together, I feel I can make you two important promises.

The first is to offer a truly multidisciplinary scientific event. In line with a long-standing personal tradition, we will not focus on narrowly defined dental topics. Since our College brings together professionals from a wide range of fields, the scientific program will be designed for EVERYONE — genuinely engaging, thought-provoking, and a rich source of inspiration. Of course, it will be followed by the essential humanitarian session, where we’ll showcase how the College is actively living out its mission around the world. Meanwhile, accompanying persons will have the chance to explore and enjoy the many wonders Milan has to offer — for those who know where (and how) to look!

The second promise is to share with you moments of true togetherness. The College is family — a place of connection and camaraderie. I will do my best to ensure that during these days, our newly inducted members will come to understand the true added value of being part of the ICD. At the same time, long-standing fellows will have the chance to reconnect with dear friends and experience many moments of joyful sharing, professional exchange, and mutual growth.
